Insert the hook into the stitch.
Yarn over and pull up a loop — you now have four loops on your hook.
Yarn over and pull through the first two loops — three loops remain.
Yarn over and pull through the next two loops — two loops remain.
Yarn over and pull through the last two loops — one treble crochet is complete.
At the end of the row, chain 4 (counts as the first treble crochet) and turn your work.
